Finally!!

After almost a week of layoff from running(bad case of runner's knee and some office stuff), I was able to run again here in our area. Though it may not be my regular distance but still I was able to continue with my training. Down side of it is there are lot of stray dogs around and the freaking humps.hehehehehe...

This is where it all began...

One busy afternoon I received a call from my GF, so I answered my fone and on the other line I heard an excited voice. So I asked her what's up? Anything important you want to talk about coz I'm a bit busy ... She said " I have a surprise for you" then I asked her what's the surprise, she said "since we will meet after your work I'll tell you later"... so I didn't insist her to tell me.

When we met at her house I immediately asked her where's the surprise, then she gave me a large brown envelope..I asked her "is this it?" she said; open it... when I opened it, it really was a surprise... a bib # and a singlet.. I immediately said "OH NO!!!" you didn't just registered me to this! She just said "I JUST DID" and you can't say NO...

Just what a good BF always does... I just said "OK"... The rest is history...Since then we started joining races.  We made running as our time to bond... Now she's running half marathons.. :) I may not be able to join her yet...but one of these days...one of these days... i might... :)

Rexona Run 2010

Another Sunday, another race day...as always we left the house early. The GF would need to be at the assembly area by 4:45AM, another 21K run for her. By 5:10 she was already off to start her run. Me and Lottie met near IMAX parking lot by 5:20 i think :) we went straight to the starting line..we were able to see a bunch of PACE PARTNERS and chat a bit with them..It's Lottie's first 10K so I advised her to relax and take it slow.. It was a BLAST! when the horn sounded,everyone is so pumped up. Passing by infront Hooters there were 3 HOOTER Girls standing by the sidewalk :) We just enjoyed our run and didn't mind if we were left behind by the pack. There's one thing we discovered, if your running behind you will get a lot of solo pictures from PHOTOVENDO.hehehehe!!
